Birth of Jesus
Matt 2:1 - "... Jesus had been born at Bethlehem in Judaea during the reign of King Herod" Luke 2:15 - "the shepherds said to one another, 'Let us go to Bethlehem and see this event which the Lord has made known to us'. So they hurried away and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lyinn in the manger". (Note : Manger - a box or trough in a stable or barn from which horses or cattle eat. Jesus is to be the food for all)

Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations; baptise them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to observe all the commands I gave you. And look, I am with you always; yes, to the end of time'" Mark 16:15-18 - "And he said to them, 'Go out to the whole world; proclaim the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. These are the signs that will be associated with believers; in my name they will cast out devils; they will have the gift of tongeus; they wil pick up snakes in their hands and be unharmed should they drink deadly poision; they will lay their hands on the sick who will recover'". Luke 24:46-49 - "and he said to them, 'So it is written that the Christ would suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that in his name, repentance for the forgiveness of sins would be preached to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses to this. And now I am sending upon you what the Father has promised. Stay in the city, then, until you are clothed with the power from on high.'" The first Disciples
Matt 4:18 - "As he was walking by the Lake of Galilee he saw two brothers, Simon, who was called Pteer, and his brother Andrew; they were making a cast into the lake with their net, for they were fishermen. And he said to them, 'Come after me and I will make you fishers of people'. And at once they left their nets and followed him. Mark 1:16-18 - "As he was walking along by the Lake of Galilee he saw Simon and Simon's brother Andrew casting a netw in the lake - for they were fishermen. And Jesus said to them, 'Come after me and I will make you into fishers of people'. And at once they left their nets and followed him. Luke 5:9 - "When Simon Peter saw this he fell at the knees of Jesus saying, 'Leave me, Lord; I am a sinful man'. For he and all his companions were completely awestruck at the catch they had made; so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were Simon's partners. But Jesus said to Simon, 'Do not be afraid; from now on it is people you will be cathching'. Then, bringing their boats back to land they left everything and followed him. John 1:41 - "One of these two who became followers of Jesus afer hearing what John had said was Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter. The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother and say to him, 'We have found the Messiah' - which means the Christ - and he took Simon to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, 'You are Simon, son of John; you are to be called Cephas'; which means Rock".
The first recorded Miracle
Matt 8:2 - "Suddenly a man with a virulent skin-disease came up and bowed low in front of him, saying, 'Lord, if you awer wiling, you can cleanse me.' Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him saying, 'I am willing. Be cleansed.' And his skin-disease was cleansed at once." Mark 1:23 - "And at once in their synagogue there was a man with an unclean spirit, and he shouted, 'What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazereth ? Have you come to destroy us ? I know who you are : the Holy One of God.' But Jesus rebuked it sayng, 'Be quiet! Come out of him!' And the unclean spirit threw the man into convulsions and with a loud cry went out of him." Luke 4:33 - "In the synagogue there was a man possessed by the spirit of an unclean devil, and he shouted at the top of his voice, 'Ha! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us ? I know who you are: the Holy One of God.' But Jesus rebuked it, saying, 'Be quiet! Come out of him!' And the devil throwing the man into th emiddel, went out of him without hurting him at all" John 2:6 - "There were six stone water jars standing there, meant for the ablutions that are customary among the Jews: each could hold twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, 'Fill the jars with water,' and they filled them to the brim. Then he said to hem, 'Draw some out now and take it to the president of the feast.' They did this; the president tasted the water, and it had turned into wine."
The Seven I AMs of Jesus
John 6:35 - "I am the bread of life. No one who comes to me will ever hunger; no one who believes in me will ever thirst" John 8:12 - "I am the light of the world; anyone who follows me will not be walking in the dark but will have the light of life." John 10:9 - "I am the gate. Anyone who enters thorugh me will be safe: such a one will go in and out and will find pasture." John 10:11 - "I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd lays down his life for his sheep." John 21:25 - "I am the resurrection. Anyone who believes in me, even though that person dies, will live, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die." John 14:6 - "I am the Way; I am the Truth and Life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you know me, you will know my Father too. From this moment you know him and have seen him." John 15:1 - "I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that bears no fruit he cuts away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes to make it bear even more."

Matt 27:46 - "Jesus cried out in a loud voice, 'Eli, eli, lama sabachthani? that is 'My God, My God, why have you forsaken me'" (Note : see Ps 22:1) Mark 15:34 - "And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice,'Eloi, eloi, lama sabchthani?' which means, 'My God, My God, why have your forsaken me?'" Jesus' First appearance after Resurrection
Matt 28:9 - "And suddenly, coming to meet them, was Jesus. 'Greetings,' he said. And the women came up to him and, clasping his feet, they did him homage. Then Jesus said to them, 'Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers that they must leave for Galilee; there they will see me'" Mark 16:9 - "Having risen in the morning on the firs tday of the week, he appeared first to Mary of Magdala from whom he had cast out seven devils." Luke 24:13 - "Now that very same day, two of them were on their way to a village called Emmaus, seven miles from Jerusalem, and they were talking together about all that had happened. And it happened that as they were talking together and discussing it, Jesus himself came up and walked by thier side; but their eyes were prevented from recognising him" John 20:14 - "As she said this she turned round and saw Jesus standing there, though she did not realise that it was jesus. Jesus said to her, 'Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?'. Supposing him to be the gardener, she said, 'Sir, if you have taken him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will go and remove him'. Jesus said, 'Mary!' She turned round then and said to him in Hebrew, 'Rabbuni' - which means Master."
